Christen Elisabeth (Lizzie) Funderburk, 27-year-old North Carolina Native began her entrepreneurial journey in 2015 when she founded her first company Lizzie’s Laundry Detergent which is now known as Lizzie’s All-natural Products, LLC. Christen’s lifelong battle with eczema is one of the main reasons she started this company.
For Christen, having eczema used to mean sleepless nights, waking up to new scars, wearing long clothing to hide her skin and just being flat out self-conscious and ashamed of who she was because of her eczema. Although eczema is not curable, it is treatable and over the years Christen has learned that healing our bodies through the power of nature is real. Her mission is to help others feel good in the skin they are in and build confidence.
Christen is a 2014 alumna of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology. Currently, Christen is pursuing her esthetician license so she can fulfill her dream of opening an all-natural spa one day to cater to people and their natural skincare needs.
Besides helping others, Christen enjoys watching a good crime show, reading, thrifting, anything skincare, hiking, eating chipotle, and long bike rides on her cruiser.
